Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the final dress rehearsals of William Shakespeare's classic tale Measure for Measure. Adapted by Peter Scofield currently on boards of the Bolton Little Theatre until Saturday 16th November.
The play unlike the original opens with a scene in the sordid, red-light district of Vienna. Although for all we know it could as well have been happening in London.
Set in the times of strict moral high with unforgiving laws being enforced by those more corrupt then the ones being judged. The play pictures wide range of characters, from the sacred to the profane and is guaranteed to keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat.
Following process of young Claudio set to die for consuming a relationship with his love Juliet and the fate of Isabella his innocent sister tangled in a trial led by ruthless and corrupt Lord Angelo.
The play finishes with unforeseen twist of the events but to know more you'll have to come and see the play for yourself.
